Angelo Orlando

Born
in Newark, Angelo has been a resident of Edison for 36 years with his wife
Helen. His extensive community work includes serving as a member of the Board
of Trustees for St. Peter's Medical Center, as well as being a member of the
St. Peter's foundation, Middlesex County Chapter of the American Red Cross,
American Cancer Society, and President of the Edison City Council. A side
of Angelo which is less well known is his great love of music (he has been
an aficionado of opera and jazz since his teens and his collections of recordings
are extensive.) Those who have heard him sing continue to urge him to start
a new career on stage. He founded the Edison Symphony Orchestra along with
Conductor Judith Morse four years ago. He has produced and directed numerous
shows and intends to continue his involvement in that area.
