A Holiday Festival of the Arts

Holiday event

The Poetry of Art

The Edison Arts Society proudly presents our 2009-2010 Statewide Art Exhibit, entitled, “The Poetry of Art”. This exciting event takes the concept of “a picture is worth a thousand words” and transforms its boundaries. Here, both the literary and the visual contribute to a fusion of aesthetics, melding framed art with framed words. The Edison Arts Society Director of Galleries is Patricia Rubin, of PM Studios in Edison. The exhibit is curated by Mary Ann Facarro,Curator and Board Member of the Monmouth Art Museum.

“The Poetry of Art Exhibit” will be held from September 23rd, 2009, through January 22nd, 2010, at the Edison Municipal Gallery, Township of Edison Municipal Builiding,100 Municipal Boulevard, Edison, NJ 08817, and may be accessed during regular business hours.

There will be an opening reception on September 23rd, at the Edison Municipal Gallery, from 6-8:30 pm. This event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.

The Edison Municipal Gallery is a joint venture between Edison Township and the Ten Year Old Non-Profit Edison Arts Society.
