Our Statewide Juried Exhibit opened on June 6, 2004 and features 26 works by 23 artists. It was juried by Lawrence Cappiello, Director of the Arts Guild of Rahway, and Roberta Carter Clark, portrait artist and author.

The Gallery of the Edison Arts Society is a joint venture between the five-year old Edison Arts Society and its corporate partner, the Sheraton Edison Hotel at Raritan Center. Exhibits hang in this venue for six-months and are viewed by multitudes of our-of-town visitors as well as locals who frequent the Hotel for meetings or dinners. With it’s first opening on November 24, 2001, the Gallery found its home on 50 feet of wall space in the well-traveled, beautifully maintained lobby of the Hotel, near the café. The Hotel sponsors Gallery openings with a lavish reception buffet, along with live entertainment. Our first opening and reception was attended by more than 200 artists and art supporters.

      Make certain you don’t miss our Members Only Gallery reception/opening “Circles and Squares” on Sunday November 7, 2004 from 3-5PM! “Circles and Squares” will showcase artists from all over the state who are members of the Edison Arts Society along with music and hors d'oeuvres provided by our host, the Sheraton Edison Hotel.
